The Ham's Orchard was established in 1979 by Dale and Judy Ham. The orchard lies just outside of Terrell, Texas. Our first peach sales began at the roadside on Texas Highway 80 that borders our property. As the orchard size increased, we moved our selling stand over the railroad track and onto our property and constructed an open-air fruit market. We sold from this building until the year 2000. We then opened our enlarged, air-conditioned farm market. The Orchard was again updated in 2007, increasing the overall size of the store and adding a fudge bar. As demand has grown, so has our store, and we are very thankful for what has become of it. We specialize in providing fresh picked fruit to our customers. It is no secret that "fresher is better." We spot pick the fruit in our orchards from dawn until dusk every day during the yield season so that only the fruit that has ripened is taken from our trees and the fruit that has not, can continue growing and ripening.
