Description of Lifesafer Ignition Interlock
Recorded Violation Types
All violations are captured by the ignition interlock device installed in your car. At LifeSafer Ignition Interlock, we've categorized them according to their nature. Some of them include;
Start-up violations: These involve attempting to start your vehicle before passing the required test in the stipulated time frame
Failed test: Includes taking a test and recording higher than the set BAC levels
Lockouts: All lockouts between service dates are recorded
Retest refused: This means that a driver failed to provide a breath sample within the expected time.
Retest failed: these are the number of failed retests by the driver. If you miss the required service date and fail to service your Tampa car breathalyzer within the required time limits or receive a violation, it will initiate a lockout. The lockout override code is a unique feature that enables a client to lift the lockout by entering a one-time generated code temporarily. The code is valid for a couple of hours; your car will work perfectly well within that time. We developed this feature to save our client's towing fees to our service stations in case of a lockout.
