Marquis Software Development (MARQUIS) is an information technology company which provides application and systems development services with a public sector focus. Related support services such as user training, data conversion, and process re-engineering are also available. Its founders and principal staff have over twenty years of experience providing consulting services to state government agencies. MARQUIS has its corporate headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. However, we have a national market for our services and products. MARQUIS consultants have extensive application and system development experience. Their expertise covers multiple hardware and software technologies including mainframe legacy systems, network and distributed processing systems, client/server systems, and Web-based (i.e. internet and intranet) systems. MARQUIS clients are generally state and local governmental agencies. This allows us to leverage the in-depth experience that our consultants have with the mission-critical applications that are in operation at those agencies. MARQUIS has a diverse and well-trained workforce. The senior technical leadership has successfully implemented major applications using multiple technical disciplines. Through a combination of technical knowledge, experience, effective systems analysis and design methodologies, we have demonstrated a proven capability to design, develop and implement integrated information systems to satisfy a variety of user requirements.
