SWI-Joists and SWII-Headers both utilize high quality 2100f machine stress rated (MSR) lumber flanges and oriented strand board (OSB) webs to produce a superior, cost effective alternative to conventional framing. SWI-Joists are available in depths of 9½" to 20". SWI-Joists offer the utmost in design flexibility. SWI-Joists are a strong, lightweight, dimensionally stable and an environmental conscious alternative to solid sawn lumber. SWI-Joists are engineered to span further than dimension lumber, providing a stiffer and quieter floor system while utilizing up to 50% less wood fiber. SWII-Headers are a time and labor saving one piece window or door Header available in depths of 7¼", 9¼" and 11¼", in both 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 widths. The SWII-Header is lightweight, energy efficient, straight and strong. Each SWII-Header features pre-installed expanded polystyrene insulation. The SWII-62 Insulated Header, in addition to providing an R-value of 18, results in reduced labor costs while adding quality.
