Since 1997, NREC has designed, managed and provided expert support for projects ranging in size and complexity from simple due diligence issues to complex Superfund Sites. Headquartered in beautiful Duluth, MN, and a branch office in Superior, WI, we serve the Midwestern U.S. and beyond. NREC's full-time staff consists of eleven engineers and scientists. Our staff has worked in more than 25 states on over 500 projects in addition to projects in Canada, Honduras, Indonesia, New Zealand, and Taiwan. NREC has particular expertise in groundwater modeling, water systems design/installation, environmental permitting and pipeline operations and construction related issues. Our experience in project management is diverse, encompassing a broad range of environmental and engineering disciplines. NREC is a full service environmental engineering firm in Duluth, Minnesota. The majority of our work consists of emergency spill response and the investigation and remediation of petroleum impacted soil and groundwater. We also provide our clients with additional environmental services, including Phase I and II investigations, air emission compliance, environmental permitting, and storm water and spill prevention plans. Our client base is very diverse, ranging from individual residents and small business owners to large corporations.
