Christianity isn't merely a set of beliefs to hold, but a life to be lived in pursuit of Jesus and a life to be shared with others. The passage of Scripture that inspired this vision statement was John 4, Jesus and the Samaritan Woman at the Well. When Jesus offered her living water, He was offering her the true, refreshing, and pure life that comes only from God. It took a while to catch on, but it clicked and she started 'drinking.' Do our lives stand out like well-watered land in a dry country? Then, what's so amazing is that her first response was to share this good news with those in her village (those who'd rejected her).
