Set on 23 acres of farmland, Hershey Farm features a walking trail complete with gardens, animal petting areas, and fishing pond. The Inn at Hershey Farm boasts 57 cozy rooms in a tranquil setting, making Hershey Farm Restaurant & Inn a premiere Lancaster County Destination. The decision to take a classic Lancaster County destination restaurant and make it a completely unique dining experience was based on the desire to improve each guests visit to Hershey Farm. "I hope that this renovation, along with our continued efforts to create a better guest experience, will show our customers that we really care about the type of experience they have when they come to Hershey Farm", Deryl Stoltzfus, General Manager states. For Hershey Farm, creating a better guest experience included redesigning the Restaurant's two main dining rooms around a central ‘relaxed barn' theme. New flooring, paint, and lighting was added and the rustic feel of a renovated stable was captured by hand crafted booths. Expected to be completed by the end of March, 2007, Deryl Stoltzfus, General Manager summed up the idea behind the entire renovation. "We want our guests to feel like they've been transported to a place they have never been before, but more importantly a place they want to come back to".
