FunKtion Auto was founded by car enthusiasts to provide complete personalized and specialized service in selling, tuning, customizing, and maintaining high performance vehicles. As a group, we have the ability to provide our customers with a complete experience that ranges from defining their automotive needs, to purchasing, customizing and tuning. The experience we offer culminates with us taking our clients to race tracks where we offer instruction on driving vehicles near the limits at which they were designed to perform. The need for FunKtion came out of frustration; a lack of a professional one-stop-shop for purchasing, tuning, repairing, storing, and transporting both your every-day automobile as well as single and dual purpose race cars. After extensive market research in the Washington DC area, it was apparent that the region lacked not only a complete one-stop-shop experience, especially for track events, but also a shop as enthusiastic about cars as they were about customer service.
