We operate a retail store in downtown Washington, DC at 2000 L Street, NW, which is supported by our 12,000 square foot production center adjacent to Dulles International Airport in suburban Virginia. Copy General has expanded dramatically over the years and there are now about 30 Copy General locations in seven countries. Our expertise in working with digital printing equipment has caused manufacturers to choose Copy General when they want to test new equipment. We were the first Washington-area location to beta-test Xerox's top-of-the-line DocuTech 6180 several years ago. More recently, we were the first printer in the region to test and accept the most advanced color digital press, the DocuColor iGen3. So, while other printers may have the same or similar equipment, no one has had more experience with the technology than Copy General. A few years ago we introduced "Brightdoc®", the first system of its kind to combine web-based ordering and fulfillment (ala Amazon.com) with print-on-demand. Building on the technology and concepts of "Brightdoc®", we introduced "BrightdocCards.com®." This highly-interactive site makes it easy (and fun!) to create highly customized cards for the holidays or any occasion. You can upload your own digital photos (or use ours), change fonts and colors, add a return address to your envelopes and even upload a mailing list to address the envelopes, all online.
