Info
Yampa Valley Medical Center is a non-profit, independent, community hospital. We are dedicated to serving the needs of residents throughout northwest Colorado and visitors from around the world. YVMC provides sophisticated medical services to more than 44,000 outpatients annually. YVMC was founded as a non-profit organization in 1946. From dedicating the former Routt County Memorial Hospital in 1950, to opening the present campus in 1999, to guiding our current expansion plan now in the design development phase, Yampa Valley Medical Center has continued to grow as the needs of our community have expanded. On our campus you'll find an accredited, full-service acute care hospital including emergency care, surgical services and the Family Birth Place with a Special Care Nursery. We also provide comprehensive therapy and rehabilitation services; a skilled nursing facility offering long-term care and short-term rehabilitation stays; and a child care center for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Yampa Valley Medical Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization led by a Board of Directors representing our community. We receive philanthropic support from the Healthcare Foundation for the Yampa Valley. Visit any of these web pages to find out more about YVMC:
