ICEMS also operates 4 Quick Response Vehicles (QRV's). Each is staffed by one paramedic each. One QRV is located in the Trinity Volunteer Fire Department in the Northern end of the county. One QRV is located in the Lake Norman Volunteer Fire Department on the Southern end of the county. Two currently operating QRV's are roving shift supervisors with one being assigned to the Northern end of the county and one assigned to the Southern end.
