The mission of the IMHA is to promote professionalism and a positive business climate for its members through the supply of quality, affordable, factory-built housing and related services. The IMHA serves as the voice of the manufactured housing industry in Illinois. For over 50 years, the IMHA has represented members of the manufactured housing industry before the Illinois legislature, county zoning boards, housing communities, and governing officials at the city, county, state and federal level. Members of the IMHA come from all aspects of the manufactured housing industry, which means IMHA works to promote the industry as a whole. IMHA members are retailers, manufactured housing community owners and managers, suppliers, manufacturers, financial institutions, service companies, transporters, manufactured housing land developers, listing companies, and various other entities involved with the manufactured housing industry in Illinois. A vital function of the IMHA is to promote and protect the manufactured housing industry through legislative and lobbying activities. Along with an aggressive public relations program, sharing state and national industry information and continuing education, we strive to serve our members and represent a powerful, united front for the manufactured housing industry.
