Dr. Wyland specializes in sports injuries of the knee, shoulder, elbow and ankle. He graduated from the University of North Carolina, where he was a two-time All-American wrestler, and attended the UNC School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine through the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado, where his training included management of foot and ankle injuries. He is team physician for Boiling Springs High School and consultant to the Colorado Rockies baseball club.
