The Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB) was founded in April 2001 by its principal Jenni Watson. The aim of the organization is to offer those who may wish to enter the field of Dog Training and/or Behavior Counseling whether as a career change, or hobby, an opportunity to undertake a series of theory courses On-line. This is a great place to start. So many people begin dog training without the required knowledge or plan. The ideas provided by the ADTB Instructors have been coupled together to make setting up a dog training business less stressful. Within the ADTB we believe that practical training experience is needed before people should undertake hands on training of dogs and the programme we offer will provide the participant with a wealth of knowledge in preparation before beginning to train dogs. The ADTB On-line theory courses have been designed to support the Kennel Club Good Citizens Scheme.
