PinotReport has won the award for "Newsletter Writing on Food, Beverage, Restaurant and Nutrition," in the 2005 James Beard Foundation Journalism Awards according to the Foundation. Joel Crea, chairman of the James Beard Foundation Awards Board of Governors, announced today. Nominees were announced in 61 categories for cookbooks, restaurants, chefs, restaurant design, journalism and broadcasting. The James Beard Foundation, based in New York City, is dedicated to furthering the practice and appreciation of the culinary arts through scholarships, special events, educational programs, a culinary library and The James Beard Foundation Awards.
