Ed Lauber and his son Mark, who today serve as the company's CEO and President, founded Lauber Imports in 1979. Ed and Mark Lauber own the 25,000 square foot building that serves as Lauber Imports corporate headquarters in New Jersey. In addition, they own Wine and Spirits Storage, Inc. (dba K.K.D. Carriers), a public warehouse and trucking company, which enables Lauber Imports to guarantee that all its wines are stored properly and shipped on,time. Also owned, by the Laubers, is the 77,000 square foot building where the warehouse is temperature controlled at 56 degrees year round. The entire fleet of delivery trucks is specially insulated to protect wine in any weather.
