Barrett Tree Service is a full service tree care company committed to its clients and their trees. Founded in 1997 by Winthrop Barrett, Barrett Tree Service provides professional tree care to the southern Berkshire County, Massachusetts area. Barrett Tree Service maintains a small staff of highly trained tree care experts who take time to perform high quality work. The small size of the company allows for a more personal relationship with clients and their trees, such that the clients receive maximum value on the services they receive. When we come to consult a client on their trees, the same person will return to perform or direct the work. Winthrop Barrett was born and raised in Sheffield, went to grade school in Egremont and Lenox, and to high school in Sheffield. He received his B.A. from St. Lawrence University, worked briefly in Alaska and then Hartford before returning to the Berkshires to enter the tree care industry.
