Founded in 1962, Poly Vinyl Company is an extrusion manufacturer specializing in the manufacture of custom extruded plastic shapes. Poly Vinyl Company was started over 40 years ago by founders Robert Schnettler and Richard Reichert. After the passing of their father, sons Thomas and James acquired the business in1998. During the 1990s the company continued to grow with the addition of major-appliance customers and many specialty customers. Product offerings were expanded with many fabrication capabilities added to the extrusion process. An Old 5 & 10 cent Store in Sheboygan, Wisconsin was Poly Vinyl Company's original site. Anew building was constructed in 1967 in nearby Sheboygan Falls. That same building hasgrown to over 125,000 square feet and 140 employees. With 26 extruders the company runson a 24-hour production schedule. In the late 1980s the company started its own proprietary brand of vinyl building productswhich is known today as Color Guard®. Maintenance-free porch and deck railingproducts, accessories and numerous residential fence designs, ColorGuard soonbecame a leader in the vinylrailing industry. Poly Vinyl Company has always been known for manufacturing the finest quality customplastic extrusions with an exceptionally high level of service. As confirmation of this, our 40th year brought expansion, including 300 active customers and achievement of ISO 9001-2000certification.
