Sharon Credit Union has offered the Saving Makes "Cents" Program since 1996 at the Heights Elementary School in Sharon, MA. This year Sharon Credit Union has welcomed Cottage Street School also located in Sharon, into the program and is looking to branch out into other local schools in the area. This program is available to children under the age of thirteen, and is designed to educate our youth on the basic ABC's of money management. By having students open their own SCU Smart Saver account and participate in their schools banking days, they are given the opportunity to conduct their own deposits, ask financial questions, receive educational information in a quarterly newsletter and watch their money grow.
