MCAS offers all students a variety of co-curricular excursions and cultural events and, depending on course selection, a series of academic field trips to sites of archaeological, artistic or environmental interest. There are also three optional, extended excursions, both within Italy and abroad, including a three day tour of the Aeolian Islands, an overnight excursion to Taormina and a five day tour of Greece. Regardless of individual course choices MCAS organizes an inclusive co-curricular program of site visits and a series of complimentary lectures and events, which have been designed to immerse all of our students into the cultural and historical context of Sicily and the Mediterranean.
