Description of The River Fund
The River Fund is dedicated to providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to people living with AIDS and other life threatening illnesses, to their loved ones and caregivers. We serve the poor, those who often are alone and in need - regardless of a person's religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender. The River Fund is a tax exempt 501 (c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible. In the ongoing fight against AIDS, The River Fund is a strong advocate for HIV/AIDS education, awareness and prevention. Our mission is to support and affirm all people. We believe in the dignity of the individual without regard to age, gender, creed, ethnic origin and sexual orientation. With an awareness of the heart, we strive to enhance the lives of those we serve and those who serve, creating a model of compassionate care.
