Stainless Piping Systems Inc. is a manufacturing shop specializing in engineering and fabrication of complete process piping systems. Formed in 1989 and benefiting from previous years of experience, our company offers extensive expertise in the field of stainless steel tube and pipe fabrication. As a unionized shop (United Association of Journeymen & Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry) signatory to U.A. Local 46 and with a National Label Agreement, we can provide prefabricated piping to all union jobsites. Our cost effective shop fabrication techniques coupled with our attention to meeting our scheduling commitments makes our prefabrication approach attractive to any customer. Satisfying our customers' requirements is our primary objective. Starting with the conceptual design, our office personnel can guide our clients through to the final commissioning of a project. Our staff is dedicated to providing customized service for customized products. Together with our commitment to maintaining our delivery schedules, the quality of our product is crucial. Our quality control manual has been certified by Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) in accordance with the Ontario Boiler and Pressure Vessels Act. Our welding procedures and operators are registered and certified to comply with ASME Section IX. Our numerous welding procedures cover a wide variety of alloys together with a wide range of wall thickness. High purity systems demand high quality fabrication techniques. Along with our manual welding procedures (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW & FCAW), we offer automatic orbital GTAW for O.D. tubing. Using a variety of weld heads, O.D. tubing from 1/8" O.D. through 4 1/2" O.D. can be welded using our A.M.I. equipment. Our finished fabrications are passivated by submersion in a nitric acid solution, followed by a rinse with high-pressure water. Deionized water can be used as for a final rinse. Non-destructive examination can be completed in our shop - be it radiographic examination, boroscoping, hydrotesting or visual examination. Through careful planning and experience, our approach to fabrication has been successful in providing our customers with quality, on-time products. Prefabrication with this degree of scheduling minimizes on-site work thereby enabling changeovers during limited shutdown periods. We welcome the opportunity to provide our services.
