Info

Since 1938, PCBS, in partnership with the University of Washington Graduate School of Business, has helped over 10,000 bankers rise above the rest. Over 500 of those graduates are currently serving as CEOs of financial institutions with hundreds more PCBS graduates serving in key leadership roles across the country. PCBS is here to help get the most out of employee potential, to enhance leadership and management abilities and to complement a bank's own internal training and development efforts. PCBS is considered the Premier National Graduate School of Banking because our entrance standards are kept high to attract the best and brightest. To ensure PCBS remains relevant to our constituents, our governing boards are made up of high-level bankers and leaders that provide input and direction into the PCBS curriculum and overall operation of the school. Their involvement ensures our curriculum is current and fresh and speaks to the cutting issues facing your organization today. "We have made some significant changes to the curriculum this year," points out Dave Enger, Executive Director and CEO of PCBS. "We will continue to survey our alumni, directors and other bankers to ensure we offer what our constituents want and need." "And, you will find only the best, seasoned instructors that consistently receive high marks will be teaching at PCBS." In addition to core classes, PCBS offers electives in eBanking, leadership and leadership effectiveness, managing at the speed of change, personal financial planning, persuasive presentations, and more cutting-edge content. PCBS offers a two-year graduate level program of management education focused on the financial services industry. Three resident sessions are held the last two weeks of August over two years and include inter-session extension work. Set in the beautiful Pacific Northwest on the shores of Lake Washington on the University of Washington campus, PCBS session attendees will share a rich classroom experience while enjoying the natural beauty and excitement of one of the country's most favorite tourist destinations. Register for the 2008 session, August 17-29, 2008.
