At Gogerty Stark Marriott we apply campaign-style strategies and tactics to communicate in ways that help clients achieve their goals. Based on our experience, we believe this research-based campaign model is the most effective way to develop compelling communications. Of vital importance is developing messages that intersect with the values of the audience receiving them. Simply put: "If you want me to listen, talk to me about me." This requires looking at an issue, project or problem through the eyes of those affected by it, determining their values, and making certain that communications are about them and their concerns. Determining these values requires research, which can also be used as a project proceeds to provide measurement of communications progress and, if necessary, to make mid-course adjustments to effectively reach the longer term goal. We consider every project individually and assemble a team to suit the client's specific needs. We then develop and implement a plan; usually integrating a range of tactics such as earned and paid media, community outreach, ally development, and government relations among other ways of reaching important audiences.
