Eben Design creates websites that support and strengthen your organization's brand. By following design cues outlined in our Website Specifications document, we design sites that are easy to use, have a clear sense of purpose, and are visually pleasing. We never design simply for our own personal gratification. An often overlooked, but important, element of web design is the graphical user interface. With the ever-shortening attention span of Internet users, it is crucial to take the thinking out of navigating a website. We strive to make it as easy as possible for a visitor to get from Point A (the homepage) to Point Z (the end goal). We work with our clients to determine their goals for the website in order to design, refine, and streamline the process, making it as intuitive and efficient as possible. Once we've finalized the website design, we closely follow the Website Specifications as a guide for building the site. Anything beyond general usability is clearly defined in the 'Spec', and we'll often outline important user scenarios with clear, easy-to-follow steps. We build 'light' sites that load quickly and optimize well for strong search engine rankings. We utilize up-to-date coding practices, such as cascading style sheets (.css), for maximum efficiency and ease of updating.
