Bristlecone is an independent, 100% employee-owned multi-family office and investment advisory firm providing comprehensive wealth management services to families and individuals. One of the great elements of working with private clients is that each client is unique , they bring their own goals, objectives, and personal circumstances , for us to work with. Our tenets , objective advice and personalized service , provide our clients institutional capabilities with a boutique experience. Simply put, Bristlecone's goal is to efficiently and effectively add value for our clients. Traditionally, families and individuals have turned to several disconnected sources , investment advisors, trust companies, and other financial service providers , for assistance with various aspects of wealth management. Everyone quickly realizes, however, that there are two problems with this approach. First, no single person or firm is charged with the overall responsibility for coordinating the client's entire wealth management plan. Second, investment advisors and trust companies are more interested in the lucrative investment management business, and thus concentrate on gathering assets, rather than servicing their clients' needs. These problems can result in conflicted, isolated advice that is not tailored to the unique goals and objectives of each individual client. Bristlecone Advisors was formed in 1999 as a family office for a Northwest entrepreneur after his search for an appropriate external firm proved unsuccessful. In 2001, Bristlecone began offering its wealth management services to additional families and individuals. Since that time, clients have chosen Bristlecone because we are uniquely positioned to provide services to those that recognize the value of personalized, comprehensive, and objective wealth management.
