At Gearhart Ocean Inn we want you to feel at home and offer a number of amenities for your comfort. In every room is a refrigerator, coffee maker, VCR and beach towels. Guest laundry facilities, extra kitchen equipment for that special meal, board games, playing cards, and books are available. For those special occasions, complimentary champagne. We will schedule your tee time, make dinner reservations, order flowers or take your picture. We also have a few bicycles and helmets for guests to borrow. Just let us know your needs. Guests use our private back yard, which is equipped with a gas barbecue, picnic table, flagstone patio, and an outdoor fireplace. It is available for guest events at no additional charge. And, we will help plan those events. The Innkeeper knows the region well and loves to help guests explore local activities, attractions and hidden spots off-the-beaten path. The tide is posted on the blackboard in our office each day and we provide clam "guns", without charge, for "hunting" the sometimes elusive Razor Clam during clamming season. During the "off season", (October 1 - June 15) we offer a 3-Night Breakfast in Bed Special, which includes a light breakfast, delivered to your room in a French market basket with the morning newspaper.
