USA Wine West, headquartered in Sausalito, California, is a national importer and distributor of wine to all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Canada. We work with foreign and domestic wineries, other U.S. importers and foreign wine portfolios that are committed to investment in the marketing and sales necessary to build their brands and portfolios in the U.S. market. We provide professional, timely and responsive service in the administration, logistics and legal compliance areas of wine distribution as well as assisting the sales and marketing efforts of our portfolios. We work with our suppliers and portfolios on very low margins to enable investment and focus onto the sales and marketing, rather than expensive administrative overhead. USA Wine West is associated with the USA Wine Imports Group. Our services, described separately yet provided in a seamless formula:Full Legal Compliance Services -- We provide complete and comprehensive compliance for our portfolios: Advice and direction in label design to comply with Federal and State requirements; Certificate of Label Approval application, use-ups, exceptions; state brand registration, price posting, and tax and gallonage reporting. We are licensed to sell wine to wholesalers in all 50 states. U.S. Logistics and Warehousing -- USA Wine West, LLC works with major wine warehouses in California where we have very favorable storage and handling rates. Wholesalers from all 50 states pickup regularly from our American Canyon or Petaluma warehouses. We contract wine deliveries by specialized wine trucking companies for our sales direct to California retailers and restaurants. We coordinate all the logistics of wine movement and inventory with these warehouses. We also have good relations with Less than Truckload trucking companies providing specialized temperature controlled coast to coast wine transfers. Less than Container Load Consolidation and Importing -- We also have regular containers from Europe and Australia where we accommodate "less than container load" shipping directly to our California warehouse. We currently work with numerous U.S. Importers to provide them with affordable service in consolidating small loads of wine from Europe and Australia. This service also makes it very affordable to bring in inventory in manageable, cost-effective quantities. Full Container Consolidation and Ocean Freight -- USA Wine West, LLC provides full container consolidation and importing from every wine producing region in the world. We work with all the major freight forwarders. Customs Clearance -- We work with Hoyt Shepson, Inc., a San Francisco Customs Broker to clear shipments through customs, both air and ocean. We can also clear wine in virtually any port in the U.S. through Hoyt's custom's broker network, including the Port of NY/NJ, Houston, etc. Bookkeeping -- We pay bills for all warehousing, distributor billbacks, taxes, etc. and account for them on a supplier/portfolio profit/loss statement. Our bill paying methods allows precise tracking of expenses related to sales. Administrative Services -- Our staff has years of experience in the logistics and administration of the wine business. We manage inventory, trucking and wholesale logistics relationships, order processing, accounts receivable and invoicing. We are responsive, practical and professional.
