SF Interactive was founded in January, 1997 and was named the fastest growing private company in the San Francisco Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times in 2000. SF Interactive was listed in the January 2003 edition of Media Magazine as the 23rd largest interactive agency in the country and the second largest independent. The agency was named Runner-up BtoB Magazine's list of the top interactive agencies for 2003. Its current clients include VeriSign, AOL, Cisco, Adaptec, Avalon Bay Communities and Weider Publications among others. The agency which continues to operate under the SFI brand was recently acquired by Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners.
