Info

Incorporated in 1985 as SNAP Systems, SL-Tech is solely focused on K-12 school foodservice business solutions. SL-Tech, owned by Lawrence Goodman III, is the school foodservice industry's recognized leader. SL-Tech has always been first to market with the most advanced solutions, including:, The first DOS-based K-12 POS system (1985), The first 32-bit Windows POS & Back of the House (BOH) system (1997), The first fully integrated, web-based POS & BOH system (2002), The first online prepayment system for school foodservice (2002), The first foodservice software provider to become SIF compliant (2003). In 1998, SNAP Systems acquired Computer Assisted Food Services (CAFS). This acquisition produced a company with unprecedented experience and resources to understand all aspects of K-12 school foodservice information technology. SL-Tech was formally created in 2001 with the full consolidation of SNAP Systems, CAFS, and School-Link Network, a company that provided student identification cards and an online prepayment system. Just two years later, in 2003, SL-Tech acquired inTEAM Associates, an operational consulting company. This acquisition has enabled us to provide products and services that truly set us apart from other school foodservice software vendors. We are committed to working with our customers to harness the combined power of technology and operational expertise to build high performing school foodservice programs.
