Fuji Food Products was founded in 1990 in San Diego, California. It started as a family owned business that offered fresh sushi as a deli item in local food markets. In 1998, the second generation founders saw an opportunity to expand the business and introduce fresh sushi to major retail chains. They embarked on a plan to make Fujisan a respected brand name throughout the United States, and beyond.
