Pharmacy is the study of the preparation and dispensing of drugs. It is very closely linked with health science and chemical science which is used to prepare the formulations in a medicine or a drug. A Community pharmacy, or local pharmacy, is a healthcare facility which supplied medicines by a registered pharmacist to a specific area. A pharmacy is often found within a drugstore and sometimes require a prescription from a general physician, however they also supply various over the counter medication. Some of these are 24-hour pharmacies. A specialist pharmacy would supply high cost or complex medication.
