Huron County Transit is funded in part by a grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, Huron County Commissioners, contract and passenger fares. All Huron County Transit services are open to the general public. Huron County Transit provides public transportation service for all Huron County and adjoining areas. HCT Public Transit Service is available for any purpose, for all ages. An adult must accompany passengers under 12 years of age. HCT Public Transit Service requires a 24-hour advance reservation. HCT Public Transit Service: Operates 7 days per week. Monday - Friday 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. No service is provided New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
