Founders , Ron Gallagher and Sharon Root started Computer Magic Training in January of 1998. Ron Gallagher, a very popular trainer for over 12 years prior to Computer Magic Training, has a large and loyal following of students. Ron is well known for his "friendly and patient" style of training, which is the hallmark of our company, and for his distinctive courseware. Ron earned his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, with graduate studies at San Francisco State University. Sharon Root brings over 20 years of high-tech company startup and management experience to Computer Magic Training. Sharon is devoted to providing our students and corporate clients with exceptional service and support. An honors graduate of Santa Clara University, Sharon is responsible for managing the sales and marketing, finance and administration for the company. Great Classroom Environment , our conveniently located classroom facility on Moorpark Avenue in San Jose is exceptional. The decor inside is comfortable and conducive to learning; outside, beautiful redwood trees surround our building. We have a fascinating computer-generated artwork exhibit by local photographer/artist Carl Miller on display in the classroom and office areas. All students have their own computer with a 17" color monitor, and the classes are very interactive with questions encouraged. The computers are meticulously maintained on a daily basis.
