Nibbi's safety efforts include and aggressive training program, building relationships with owners, subcontractors, trade unions etc. We strive to create a culture where workers value safety and take personal responsibility for their safety and the safety of others. Our current state ranking is in the top 5, making us one of the safest contractors in California. Rick Fedick, Nibbi CFO supervises the safety/risk management department which is led by Dr. Kendon Dressel, Director of Environmental Health and Safety. Training for our field superintendents, foremen and site-specific safety managers include OSHA 30-hour training and CPR among others. Nibbi's volunteer safety committee was formed in 2001. With representatives from the laborers, carpenters, project management, estimating and finance, the committee meets monthly to ensure its plans and ideas are put into action.
