MSR Communications' Internship Program is designed to offer individuals who are enthusiastic and interested in learning about the exciting profession of public relations the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on work experience while learning new skills that are critical for success in the PR field. MSR represents a variety of clients in the education and emerging-growth technology, new media, retail, and sports, health and fitness industries. Our small, supportive and unique environment fosters teamwork and a creative approach to the dynamic landscape of public relations. MSR's offices are conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco's Union Street district. We will work with college students of all levels to arrange academic credit for their participation in the program. In the MSR Communications Internship Program, individuals will receive:Practical, Hands-on PR ExperienceThe MSR program enables interns to gain invaluable, hands-on experience with the various aspects of PR including customer service, media relations, analyst relations, client management, planning, research, writing, new business and competitive analyses. All program participants will have the opportunity to learn how to research and identify important media/analyst contacts; create media/analyst lists; write press releases; pitch reporters; interact with vendors and callers; participate in agency meetings and creative sessions; and assist MSR team members to support agency efforts and activities.
