About the CCA - Founded in 1977 as one of the West's first culinary arts schools, the California Culinary Academy is dedicated to providing the highest standard of education to all students in preparation for careers in the culinary and hospitality fields. Faculty and staff are models of quality and integrity committed to furthering the values of life-long learning. The Academy offers associate degree programs in both Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts and Hospitality & Restaurant Management, as well as a certificate program in Baking & Pastry Arts. About the N.C.J.R.A - Founded in 1988, the Northern California Japanese Restaurant Association is an 80-member organization of Bay Area Japanese food purveyors. NCJRA's mission is to promote a superior level of food service, to educate the public about Japanese cuisine, and to support its members with business resources, education and training in important issues such as, employment, immigration and food safety.
