Southern Cross Property Consultants has been serving religious and non-profit organizations since 2001. Our staff brings a great deal of knowledge and practical experience to all of client projects. Following are the primary team members: Matthew BoomhowerMatthew is the founder and president of Southern Cross Property Consultants. In addition to managing Southern Cross' day to day operations, Matthew is an adjunct architecture professor at Woodbury University, San Diego and has previously taught at Newschool of Architecture and the University of Tennessee, School of Architecture. Prior to founding Southern Cross Property Consultants, Matthew worked for a number of general contracting and design/build firms including Nielsen Dillingham Builders (San Diego), JOSEPH Construction Company (Knoxville, TN), and Bovis (Charlotte, NC). He is a Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA), current President of the San Diego Chapters of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and a member of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). Matthew is also a business member of the National Association of Church Business Administrators (NACBA). He is the author of numerous articles and has presented a number of continuing education and professional development seminars and educational programs to various groups. Matthew has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and is a licensed Architect in California.
