Info

Emdal, Inc. (EMDAL) is a privately-owned fifteen-year-old product development, manufacturing and marketing company incorporated in Nevada in 1991. EMDAL has its main office in San Carlos, California, and has Sales Branch Offices in Minnesota, New York, and Connecticut. In 2001, EMDAL sold its office products line of advertising specialties, including its patented office accessories technology, to focus one-hundred percent of its resources on the development, manufacturing and marketing of various proprietary lines of sports-collectible souvenirs and online business services. EMDAL's proprietary sports souvenirs are marketed primarily to sports fans of professional and collegiate teams that are reached via the Internet and through targeted direct mail offers, plus secondarily through standard retail distribution channels. The Company's proprietary sports products, led by its exclusive line of limited edition 'subject-autographed' Giclée art prints and its new GOAL POSTINGS game-used goal post souvenir program, includes an exceptionally broad assortment of traditional sports souvenirs, such as logo-apparel and team equipment replicas, but also encompasses a unique collection of team-affiliated promotional software and exclusive, high-end, game-used souvenir conversions. No other sports promotion or souvenir marketing company can offer such an expansive array of proprietary memorabilia and rare collectibles. Prior to forming EMDAL, the principal founders, Michael J. Dikas and R. Eric Parton, had long successful careers in the advertising agency business, during which time they represented an assortment of professional and collegiate clients that included: The Memphis Blues AA Minor League Baseball team then-affiliated with the Montreal Expos and owned by former Detroit Tiger 31-game winner, Denny McLain; the Memphis Southmen (Grizzlies) World Football League team owned by John Bassett and coached by John McVay; the Memphis TAMS American Basketball Association team owned by Charles O. Finley; the St. Louis Blues National Hockey League team; and the San Jose Earthquakes North American Soccer League team owned by Milan Mandaric. When it was founded, EMDAL provided corporate clients product design, development, and market introduction consulting services. EMDAL has assisted large and small corporate clients in the development and marketing of numerous high technology and consumer products, including: an automated game-cartridge sorter for Sega; a portable color dot matrix printer for Dwinell International; a fax-converter printer controller for Hewlett Packard; and several computer component products for other high-tech clients. EMDAL has also independently developed dozens of innovative consumer and industrial products under its own brands, including: a patented line of office accessories for cubicle walls (sold to International conglomerate, Fellowes Corporation in 2001); the first-ever detachable safety light for motorcycle helmets; an LED movable-display programmable message clock; a kite-mounted camera with automatic timer; a custom Personal Information Manager software application; a laser-sighted golf putter; a Global Positioning System (GPS)-equipped golf cart-mounted shot-measurement calculator; and various consumer food products, including BIG GAME Chips for the Stanford and the University of California-Berkeley annual football showdown; microwavable pork rinds; and jalapeno beer.
