MTWO Technology, Inc. offers several products and is active in various Electronic Data Interchange projects. The primary system we have developed, FIPS & BIPS, is designed for small and mid-sized law firms. It fully integrates foreclosure, bankruptcy and administrative processing. Additionally, we offer several add on products that provide fully automated interfaces to other database systems. We also have developed a system for process servers that tracks the process of service of complaints. This system features EDI connections to FIPS & BIPS for both the referral of new business and the communication of current status information between the process server and the law firm. During 1997, MTWO, doing business as DataStar Technology, Inc., developed the first implementation of EDI, using national ANSI ASC X12 data standards, for exchanging referral and status reporting information between mortgage servicers and foreclosure and bankruptcy attorneys. This activity can easily be extended to meet default reporting requirements to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation. In late 1996 through mid 1997, we were the primary consultants for a private collaboration between six of the top ten mortgage servicers, several large law firms, and representatives of the Federal National Mortgage Association and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Loan Corp. This group explored the use of a "Data Repository" and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to improve communications and business performance in the default management process.
