Info
Keystone is dedicated to helping students in their pursuit of mental and physical excellence. Although the athletic department is primarily involved with a student's physical development, we will support and encourage all students in every way possible in their academic goals. Our objective is to help the student become a holistic, well-rounded person. Keystone students have been given the greatest gifts of all; good health and a sound mind. We help them maximize these tools to the fullest. Each Keystone athlete is taught to recognize that doing their best is far more important than the outcome of any competition. The emphasis on cooperation, teamwork, respect for individual differences, honesty, fair play, and good sportsmanship are values reinforced throughout practice and competition. Keystone School offers the following competitive athletic teams: Boys basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. Girls volleyball, basketball, and softball. During the last 6 years, 90 Keystone athletes have been named to All-District teams, while 27 have been elevated to All-State status. 15 teams have won District, Bi-District, Regional, and State Championships. In November, 1998, the Varsity Girls' Volleyball Team won the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) 3-A State Championship.
