Dr. Engstad graduated from St. Georges University in True Blue, Grenada. He later completed his residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and went on to complete his fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Engstad is a member of the American Medical Association, Oregon Medical Association and The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
