By way of introduction, Trailwood Transportation is privately held and based in Mounds View, Minnesota. We operate a total of 75 power units, 50 of which we run over the road. The major areas we serve with our trucking jobs are the Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota, Chicago Illinois, Indianapolis Indiana, Columbus Ohio, Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Dallas Texas, and Birmingham AL areas. Our equipment is all 2004-2005 Model International 9400 Series with the Eagle Packages (Pro Sleepers) and Volvos 660's and 670's. Each tractor is assigned by driver and serviced every 10,000 miles. We're a small company, we all know each other by name. We work with our drivers to assure that they make a good living and have a life as well. We've been working for many of the same shippers for 30 years. With the lanes we run, you can be home weekly or continue running, whichever you prefer. Because we are very regular in our routes your home time will also be regular and quite predictable. All of our loads are 'no touch'. We pay you for loaded and empty dispatched tariff miles. In addition, we pay stop off pay, detention, layover, as well as orientation pay. By way of benefits we offer Vacation Pay, Medical, Life and Disability Insurance, as well as a 401K Retirement Program with matching company funds. We honor your length of service with your present carrier and start you in at the respective level of pay on the enclosed pay package. If it's less than one full year, you can start at the $.36 p/mi and graduate up $.01/mi each year you're with us to $.40 p/mi as indicated in the enclosed pay package. The drivers who complete their first year at the $.36 p/mi average $46,000 to $48,000 p/yr. Drivers at the $.40 p/mi level average $51,000 to $53,000.
