(RSI),is an independent engineering firm specializing in the evaluation, design, management and construction observation services of the building envelope which includes commercial roofing and waterproofing. Founded in 1986, Roof Spec, Inc. is a privately held corporation. It is a leading expert in commercial and educational facilities, historic restoration and preservation. The staff of RSI includes Professional Engineers (PEs), Registered Roof Consultants (RRCs), Registered Waterproofing Consultants (RWC), Registered Roof Observers (RROs) and computer design professionals, all with extensive consulting experience. Roof Spec was founded in response to:the number of roof and wall systems which were failing due to workmanshipthe use of inadequate materials in their construction,systems that were not acheiving their intended design life due to premature deterioration,and systems which were not meeting the objectives of the building owners. As our name implies, we at RSI are primarily comitted to building envelope performance. Our goal is to provide our expertise to our clients to ensure the "FIFTH WALL" of the building succeeds.
