Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers
Info
The Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) is a professional association of nearly 1,400 licensed professional engineers, practicing engineers, engineering graduates and engineering students in nine local chapters throughout Minnesota. MSPE serves the needs of Minnesota's engineers working in private practice, industry, construction, government and education and is the only organization that represents engineers in all disciplines. MSPE's mission is to provide resources and value to licensed PEs and those on the licensure track through education, outreach and advocacy. Working in partnership with NSPE and the Minnesota Professional Engineers Foundation, MSPE provides opportunities for members in the areas of networking, outreach, leadership development, licensure advocacy and ethics, and education. MSPE promotes engineering licensure and ethics, advocates and protects the legal rights of professional engineers, provides continuing education opportunities and works to help protect the future of engineering by promoting engineering careers and promoting a better understanding of the engineering profession to the general public. MSPE is a state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers, which serves over 45,000 members through 53 state and territorial societies and more than 500 chapters.
