Founded in 1995, Primary Network offers Internet access, web-hosting services and Virtual ISP services. Primary Network's access products include dial-up, ISDN, DSL, T-1, DS3, 10 Mbps Ethernet, E-Port, and Pt to Pt Wireless. Primary recently added both Voice over IP (VOIP) and Broadband over Power Line (BPL) solutions. Primary's network utilizes the most advanced routing technology from Laurel Networks/ECI Telecom Data Networking Division with fiber connectivity to multiple carriers (SBC & and MCI). Primary Network is the network operations core of River City Internet Group. Primary Network was spun off from CDM Fantasy Sports in July of 1995. Until that time the company had been the technology arm of CDM Fantasy Sports. Primary Network was sold to Mpower Communications in June of 2000 for $145,000,000.
