The Rome Group is a woman-owned business located in the City of St. Louis. We were founded in 1991 by two long-time leaders in the world of philanthropy and development, Amy Rome and Claudia Daugherty (1958-2006). Both Amy and Claudia believed that every organization has a unique blend of issues, opportunities, and stakeholders that requires a customized approach to ensure success. They also believed that clients should learn from the experience of working with The Rome Group, so that they will be better prepared to tackle future challenges. Over the years, The Rome Group has worked with hundreds of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations throughout the Midwest, and other parts of the country, to help them operate more effectively and generate greater results in planning, fundraising and every other aspect of their operations.
