Central West End Bank was founded in 1979 as a direct outgrowth of the lending and savings needs of an urban neighborhood. The principal business of the Bank has historically consisted of making loans secured by mortgages on residential, other real estate, and to a lesser extent, commercial and consumer loans. The Bank has served its local market with its office at 415 DeBaliviere in the city of St. Louis for more than 20 years. Deposits, lending, and ancillary services are conducted at this location. The site provides the added convenience of a drive-up window and automatic teller machine (ATM). In 1999, the Bank opened a second location at 10 Maryland Plaza. The Bank has an off-site ATM at 22 North Euclid. Both are within close proximity to the retail shopping and dining area of St. Louis' Central West End area.
