Harold Smith & Son, Inc. is a long established General Engineering Construction Company located in St. Helena, California in the middle of Napa Wine Country. Harold Smith & Son, Inc. also operates its own Ready Mix Concrete plant, and Sand & Gravel sales, located at 800 Crane Avenue, St. Helena, CA 94574. Established in 1917, Harold Smith & Son, Inc. has been serving Napa County for over 85 years. The company has grown from a contract trucking firm to General Engineering Construction, Ready Mix Concrete, and Sand & Gravel sales. In 1974, Harold U. Smith retired selling his half interest to Frank Borges, Phil Morisoli, Ed Bowers, and Harold Varozza. His son, Harold D. Smith, later sold his half of the business to the same partners.
