The staff at Amcon Block developed this mission statement to help guide our actions on a daily basis as we complete our designated responsibilities. "Amcon's first priority is customer satisfaction which will be achieved by providing superior products and service. This is our goal each day as we make decisions with our customers, co-workers, and suppliers to bring customer service to a higher level in the communities we work in. Amcon's shield is your assurance of quality and performance." Amcon Block and Precast, Inc. began in 1977 when company president, David Pederson, purchased Northwest Concrete Products. This concrete block manufacturing plant operated mainly in warm weather months and employed 10 people. In 1979 the company was renamed and relocated to its present location. Customer satisfaction has always been Amcon's first priority. High quality products with delivery and manufacturing lead times that meet our customers needs are the key to any successful project. Amcon does everything possible to ensure our masonry supplies do not delay projects. Our jobs depend on the trust our customers extend to us and we always work to meet their expectations. Today, Amcon Block's manufacturing facilities run year-round servicing customers primarily in the seven-state Midwest region. Amcon has three locations in Central Minnesota and employs 120 people. Amcon values the customer relationships we have developed over the last quarter century. We go to work everyday to show our customers why they would want to be working with Amcon Block. Amcon is here to meet the needs of those customers who choose the work with us, help them finish their projects on time, and help build the communities that we work in.
